Field Tech / Installer

Job Description

  • Assist with commercial alarm installations and repair work
  • Assist with commercial alarm inspections
  • Pull cable, trim devices and panels
  • Troubleshooting alarm systems
  • Walking, climbing on ladders, bending, lifting, etc
  • Varied start times

Requirements

  • Must be good with customers, effective communicator
  • Must be able to accurately fill out work orders
  • Valid driver’s license and must be able to pass background check
  • Punctual and organized
  • Professional image
  • Hard-worker and trustworthy
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be familiar with basic hand tools
  • Background in electronics and/or construction is helpful

Admin Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Draft formal proposals to be submitted
  • Schedule field technicians and installers
  • Submit routes to field technicians and installers
  • Greet and assist onsite guests
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems
  • Perform miscellaneous office tasks
  • Assist in paperwork for permit submittals
  • Review technician’s work orders and submit invoices
  • Assist in ordering equipment from suppliers
  • Enter employee hours for payroll

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
